Boyd started his career in 1990 as a data analyst for Credit Suisse Financial Products (CSFP), an investment bank which created and traded derivative financial instruments based in London. At CSFP Boyd created a database for analyzing capital at risk for the bank called FRED (Financial Risk Exposure Database) which is still in use today. Boyd moved from analyst to strategy at UBS and then into investment banking where he helped to raise money for and float several technology companies on the UK Stock Exchange before launching a Venture Capitalist Fund called the CREATE East of England Fund, which specialized in investing into early stage tech companies around the Cambridge area. Following the completion of that Fund, Boyd founded Chorus Intelligence to focus on data analytics once again.
After honing his skills as a software developer, Al co-founded a Software Services company which specialized in developing custom solutions servicing local, state and federal Law Enforcement in the area of data sharing. During his career, Al has spent 20+ years in an executive capacity, leading teams of 100+ software professionals (some mixture of sales, services and developers). Currently he is heading up the US operations Chorus Intelligence.
Mr. Zidenberg has over 25 years of managing and leading teams of all sizes to include running business units/divisions, project management, software sales teams and software development teams with special expertise with Law Enforcement Solutions at the local, state and federal levels.
Richard began his career with the Metropolitan Police Service as a Fingerprint Expert before quickly proceeding to be a Crime Scene Manager on one of London’s busiest boroughs. After 10 years he decided to spread his wings into managing the Fingerprint Department in the Cayman Islands before coming back to the UK to head up the Fingerprint services of Northamptonshire Police and then the laboratory services of the East Midlands. He is now the Customer Relationship Director for Chorus Intelligence responsible for the sales process and customer support for all of Chorus’ UK customers.
Troy began his career as a software engineer in 1990 moving to Database and Systems Administration then to Project and Programme Management. He worked in the Banking and Finance industry in the 90’s before moving into Retail where he gained extensive experience managing digital technology transformation programmes for household name businesses such as Sainsbury’s and M&S. He has a passion for building, developing and leading successful high-performing technology teams.
Glen’s interest in programming started when he got his first computer, a ZX Spectrum, when he was 5 years old. After earning a Computer Science degree from the University of Kent, he went on to a development role in the financial sector writing code for mortgage products. In 2012, Glen wanted a bigger challenge and joined Chorus as our first official employee to work on the Analyzer software. He now heads up the development team.
Early career years spent leading a migration project team in Eastern Energy’s Industrial and Commercial business, then after a number of years as a Finance Process Analyst and Team Leader Lucy finished her career co-ordinating a number of outsourcing and site closure projects for Eon. After 14 years she transferred her skills to Contract Management within the recruitment sector for a niche IT skills agency. After 7 years she was offered the opportunity to join Chorus Intelligence in a newly formed role of Operations Manager.
Andy unfortunately lost his fight with cancer in March 2020.
Andy had a fascinating career that took him from Milan catwalks to Cheshire Police, to his own training company and then to Chorus. His knowledge is unsurpassed in the analysis industry and we’ll be forever in his debt for the insight and understanding that he brought to Chorus and Analysts across the world.
Mark began his career at Essex Police as a Detective, investigating serious and organized crime before moving to the Regional Crime Squad and the National Crime Agency. He also served at the International desk of the Child Exploitation & Online Protection Centre, working with Interpol and Europol, across the world to prevent the sexual exploitation of children. He latterly served in West Africa, training officers from the security agencies and national police forces in covert and technical surveillance methodology.
Gemma has 11 years experience working within law enforcement, the majority of which was at Surrey Police as an Intelligence Analyst and latterly as an Intelligence Manager (a role that replaced the previous Senior Analyst role). Gemma was responsible for a team of police officers as well as research and analysis staff. Initially she worked with specialist teams investigating major crime, serious / organized crime and complex abuse offences. She then moved on to run a Divisional Intel Unit, providing operational intel support and analytical assistance to a wide variety of policing teams.
Scott Orton is an accredited intelligence analyst, he began his career at Leicestershire Police, working in partnership with government agencies to assist in reducing crime in Leicestershire. He then progressed to working as an intelligence analyst for the East Midlands Special Operation Unit (EMSOU), firstly within Operation Liberal, a national crime unit. Then moving into the Regional Intelligence Unit, providing analytical assistance for five police forces in the east midlands region. This involved working on a number of different types of investigations, from major crime, financial crime and serious and organized crime.
Gemma has 15 years experience working as an Intelligence Analyst within law enforcement, initially on Westminster Borough in the MPS, before moving to the Major Crime Investigation Team at Surrey Police and latterly as Senior Analyst at the South East Regional Organized Crime Unit where she was responsible for both strategic and operational intelligence analysis. Prior to joining Chorus Intelligence, Gemma was Senior Solutions Consultant for a software start-up, managing the configuration and implementation of IT solutions for law enforcement and government clients.
Joe’s early career began in finance before switching to marketing 9 years ago. A graduate scheme in the utility sector resulted in a Product Management position before moving across to Marketing Communications and Public Relations. After a number of years he moved to London to head up Marketing and PR for Teradata UK, a specialist data and analytics company supporting large enterprises. Joe moved to join Chorus in October 2016 to become Marketing Manager and take on web development, events, and communications.
Pete joined Chorus as an experienced Support and Maintenance Engineer having previously worked as a Support Manager in IT services for education, and then going on to supporting the IT needs of a number of power stations throughout the UK. Pete joined Chorus in January 2017 to take on the role of Support Manager and works very closely with both the Development team and the Customer Relationship Managers to provide assistance in all areas of Chorus product support.
For over 25 years, Nancy Rose Senich has enjoyed leading an established high impact, high energy virtual marketing and public relations firm with substantial experience in launching new organizations and helping existing firms adopt and sustain change to meet new market conditions. Nancy brings her extensive expertise and energy to aid in the launch of Chorus Intelligence in the North American market.
